Breaking Bad

Breaking Bad is a great show, it has drama, action and comedy all in one. The show is about Walter who is a high school teacher in chemistry but he's diagnosed with cancer. He thinks that he hasn't got long to live so he wants to make sure his family, his wife and son, has enough money to manage after his passing. He also meets a former student of his, Jesse Pinkman, who failed in chemistry and now is selling drugs. Walter teams up with Jesse and they start making their own drugs, crystal meth.

Cranston who is playing Walter is doing his job so well that he is to be compared with Michael C. Hall as Dexter. One of the best actors in a tv-series I've ever seen. Breaking Bad has had two seasons so far but since the second season was better than the first I have high hopes for this one. Everyone is doing excactly what they should, actor-wise. Oh, here's a twist, his brother-in-law works for the DEA.

I think this is a must-see show and it works for all ages as well. And since the third season is coming up in march it's a good time to start now so you'll be ready for it when it hits you. I stream this show on Ninjavideo.

I give Breaking Bad 4/5 thanks to great acting and great plot but the show may get boring but if you just stick with it you'll get through the rough patches.

  1. Great blog - I will enjoy following your blog! If you're interested, follow mine famouslastwordscreated.blogspot.com. My favourite show is Grey's Anatomy, although I must admit I haven't watched it for ages. My alltime favourite show is North of 60. Do you have any information on that show?

  2. Grey's Anatomy is a great show but I have not yet really taken an interest due to some "resistance" to tv-series taking place in hospitals.

North of 60 you say? Never heard of it actually. Could you tell me something about it? and I will check it out if I can find it. Really nice having You as a follower! (hate the term follower though, sounds kind of odd)

  3. Hi there! North of 60 is a made-in-Canada tv show that was quite popular a few years back. The setting was "Lynx River", a fictitious small town up north. Basically a tale of a town mostly populated by Natives (First Nations), and policed by the RCMP. It ran for a few years, and was an excellent show. Yes, the word "follower" is funny, isn't it!! I always have a laugh when I see that term too!

  4. Alright then I will look for it on the internet, I haven't come across it yet so maybe it's hard to find for streaming... but i'll try...

I read you aren't that familiar with Internet so I'll just have to ask you if you know what streaming is?

Is there any other show you're interested in? mainly something from my list I've made here on my blog?

    have a nice one

  5. I'm not that familiar with streaming so please explain - I enjoy the internet but am not on top of things with it! As for your list, two of my favourite shows on there is Friends and Two and a Half Men! I watch those regularly!

  6. Ok, streaming is basically watching videos on the Internet without downloading, which is illegal, at least in Sweden. Streaming "downloads" a file to your computer which lets you watch it online without actually downloading it illeagally. This is a very good option if you want to legally watch your favorite show without the commercials and you can watch it anytime you want.

Well, that's Streaming I guess, I hope you understand my confusing explanation.

Two and a Half Men is a great show really and Friends is one of the best comedy shows ever I'd say. I've been searching now for a while and I can't get anything working on North of 60. I've read good reviews of it though.

Anything else you think I should try?

  7. Hey thanks for your explanation of streaming! It's appreciated! How about Reba - have you ever watched that show?

  8. Don't mention it. I've seen the first episode of Reba and it's not half bad but it's a little bit too goofy for my taste. But Reba McIntire is really good though. Keep hitting me with shows I'm dying to learn about new ones!

What type of shows are you normally in to?

  9. nice post... followed through to here from FLW's blog... think that you've got some room to diversify your site to include reviews of youtube as well... i'm a big fan of samuel beckett, so of course i'd recommend his stuff... here's a link to one of his films (kind of abstract, but you may like it all the same):

  10. Hello and welcome jon,
thank you for following and your tips. I've watched the link you posted and the 2nd and 3rd part as well and I liked it. As you said it was abstract and I like it but in small doses though. I think it was some sort of mix between the film Dune and modern dance if you know what I mean.

I'll think about reviewing youtube-clips as well but perhaps it's better if you, me and soon hopefully others can introduce clips like you just did and discuss them. And then if it becomes interesting enough I'll make a post about the clip and different views upon it.

Do you think that would be interesting?

Your always warmly welcome to suggest possible changes and I'll do my best to meet your requests.

  11. I think that sounds like a good idea... why don't you keep working on your project and hit the series that you're into... if I see film or video that I find especially compelling I'll let you know...
    Nice to make the acquaintance...
    cheers

  12. It's great to see write ups about other shows that I normally wouldn't have watched so what Jon is saying is a great idea - maybe your readers will find some new shows that intrigue them, thanks to your blog!

  13. Jon, that's sounds great. Just keep me posted on videos, films, youtube-clips or tv-shows you like.

FLW i really hope my readers will be intrigued and give the shows I write about a chance. I wouldn't write about them if I didn't think they were worth writing about :)

Both of you, keep me posted!

  14. In every episode,I Watch Breaking Bad Online. I find myself smirking at the wit and clever story telling. I am also surprised more than once per episode in a plot twist or revelation
